Do you have any winter availability?

Alure is heavily booked over winter. To make it easier for you to find suitable dates, we’ve created a one page information sheet. View the availability sheet here.

Do you cater for children?

Alure Stanthorpe’s glamping tent and villas have been set up for couples to get away for a romantic and relaxing retreat. We are set up to accommodate only one couple per tent or villa and are not suitable for children.

How far from Stanthorpe are you?

We are located just a short five-minute drive from the heart of Stanthorpe’s bustling community.

Are you close to many cellar doors?

We are placed in the middle of the region’s best cellar doors, with premium wines to be tasted to the north and to the south of our exclusive acommodation.

Do tour buses pick up from your villas?

Yes, they will collect you from your door and deliver you safely home after a fabulous fun filled day experiencing all the best that the Granite Belt has to offer.

What is included in the Breakfast Basket?

Our ‘Tastes of the Granite Belt’ continental breakfast basket contains freshly baked bread,  croissants, Alure’s own (handmade) cereal and granola, milk, yoghurt with Bramble Patch berry compote, Sutton’s apple juice, butter, Stanthorpe honey and Bramble Patch jam. It’s a perfect sampler of the region’s best produce. All produce is sourced locally, excluding the yoghurt, milk and butter.

If you wish to go all out and cook up a storm in your state of the art kitchen then we can supply you with a Gourmet Breakfast Platter which has all of the above plus premium free range bacon, Italian sausages, free range eggs, mushrooms, vine-ripened tomato, and Jamworks tomato relish for an additional cost of $30 per morning.

What is the Open Pantry?

Alure provides kitchen essentials such as Granite Belt Gourmet olive oil, Lirah balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar, Summit coffee beans, Twining’s specialty and herbal teas, hot chocolate, aluminium foil, glad wrap, oven bags, paper towels, and napkins.

Where can I go for meals?

There are restaurants and cafes within a five-minute drive of your villa. It is advisable to book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Dining In

If you feel like being creative and self-catering you can bring your own supplies or shop at our local grocery stores only five minutes away.

Restaurant in-villa meals, gourmet BBQ packs, picnic hampers, cheese, and antipasto platters can be arranged for you. Please arrange prior to arrival (Up to 7 days notice required).

Peacefulness and privacy are very important to me. How private are the villas?

The villas are set on a bushy 50 acres and are set well apart for privacy. With a maximum of 3 couples at a time, this ensures a uniquely private and serene experience.

I want this to be a “special occasion“ for my partner. What packages do you offer?

Special occasions are our speciality! Alure is committed to making your stay one that you will never forget – if you have any special requests please contact us to discuss. If you wish for us to arrange flowers, champagne, romantic room decorations, or any other special requirements, please talk to us in advance to ensure we have everything perfect for you on arrival.  Privacy and discretion are guaranteed at all times.

I have an electric car, where is the closest fast charger?

The closest fast charger is located at the Rogers Street car park. There are a number of bays and is located close to the shopping and cafe strip of Stanthorpe town.

What do I need to bring?

We provide a selection of easy listening CDs and an extensive range of DVDs. Please feel free to bring your own selection of music and entertainment to ensure you have the ultimate experience.

If you have not visited the Granite Belt before, we advise you to bring a jacket year round and an extra jumper in winter. They don’t call it the Brass Monkey Season for nothing with temperatures often reaching below 10 degrees in the day and below zero at night – great for snuggling!

Pet-Friendly?

We appreciate some couples love to holiday with their well-behaved furry/feathered family members. Our villas are available for pet stays, but the tent is not. The pet friendly package applies to all dog stays, just select the dog friendly package when booking. Contact us to discuss options for other pets.

Please note that pet/s must be supervised at all times. Note: The tent is not pet-friendly.

It is important to keep in mind that Alure Stanthorpe villas are nestled up against natural bushland that has an abundance of wildlife, with kangaroos, echidnas, birds and possums all inhabiting the area. Of course, we do not wish to endanger the locals or your pet. View all pet options.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes, all accommodation options have access to free wireless internet.

Are your villas smoking or non-smoking?

Inside is definitely a non-smoking destination. We have provided ashtrays outside on your private deck and ask that guests dispose of their butts thoughtfully as we are nestled up against the bush and would not like to endanger the environment. The glamping tent is strictly non-smoking inside and outside.

What about housekeeping?

We find most guests value their privacy, and prefer not to be disturbed by house keeping during their stay. Of course, if you prefer, daily housekeeping (an extra charge) can be provided.

What if I arrive late?

Don’t worry, you can arrive at any time, as we provide all guests self check-in information, a property map and a handy video.

How much deposit is required?

A total of 50% of booking is to be paid at the time of reservation to secure your booking. The balance is to be paid 14 days prior to arrival date. We accept MasterCard and Visa Card. Direct Deposits are also available, please contact us for bank details. If a reservation is made 14 days or less than arrival then the full amount is payable.

What is your cancellation policy?

All payments are non-refundable. However, bookings are transferable once only within a 12 month period, providing that the alteration is made more than 14 days prior to arrival date. No alterations or changes can be made less than 14 days prior to arrival date.

COVID-19 Conditions: All bookings unable to be fulfilled specifically due to Queensland Government directed travel ban (not advice to ‘reconsider your need to travel’) can be altered to a later date, or will have a credit issued for up to 12 months. This is providing notice is given up to the day before arrival.
